I bought the largest size radiant floor heater and after a few days, I could feel a difference. RugHeat is the attractive solution for warming cold spots in any room of the home or office. Product works great and I really like the controller. I am doing another floor and will definitely be back. The contractor has not finished laying the tiles on it, so I don’t know how well it will heat. Would be much more convenient if they hooked together instead of having to run all the leads through a junction box. Would be a good idea to connect and let it run overnight to ensure heating is good and works well – before you put the tiles on. Each mat has wires pre-attached for ease of installation.
I also highly recommend getting the suggested insulation to go with the rug heater. There is a peace of mind knowing that all three elements work together to get the job done safely. The cable was well packaged, and shipped a day sooner than expected.

It is incredibly relaxing, I think the bathroom is my new favorite room, thanks to this awesome upgrade. There was no 10mm P conduit to house the underfloor sensor, I had to hunt for that separately. The thermostat controller has the back unit mounted to the front plate opposite ways up. 2 mm, it is ideal for the renovation and modernisation of bathrooms, showers, kitchens, etc. We tried all sorts of heating… adding a large rug, a warm air heater, an oil-filled radiant heater. None really helped with warming up the room without adverse consequences like drying out the air.
I used Programmable thermostat, but non-programmable can be used as well. These films are very nice-super quality and very easy to install . With a coverage area of about 30 square feet, you can easily adjust the length of the film by simply using a pair of scissors to ensure a perfect fit. The heater runs on 120 volts of power and is energy efficient to save you money down the road.
